Jed Bernstein
After 11 years as Executive Director and then President of the League of American Theatres and Producers, Jed Bernstein launched Above The Title Entertainment, a Broadway/Television production company and marketing consultancy.
Prior to the League, Mr. Bernstein had a 16-year career in the advertising industry. He managed American Express' efforts in the performing arts industry as well as their "Do You Know Me?" television commercials. Later, he was instrumental in the award-winning campaign featuring actor Bruce Willis that introduced Seagram's Golden Wine Coolers.
Mr. Bernstein led many important initiatives at the League, including ACT II; Kids' Night on Broadway; the Broadway on Broadway concert's development into a national television program; and Broadway Under the Stars. Mr. Bernstein was also instrumental in guiding Broadway's recovery after 9/11 with, among other efforts, the producing and directing of New York Loves America, a 14-city concert tour.
Mr. Bernstein currently holds board appointments with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Actors' Fund. He is a board member of the NYC Latin Media Commission and a board member of the Theater Subdistrict Council. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA at Yale.
