Funding a production is one of the producer’s key jobs. Equally important is to make each investment a positive experience so that your investors and co-producing partners will want to work with you again. This one-day seminar will take you through the process of finding co-producers, creating the materials you need to convince them to join your project, and producing the events that will get investors interested. After you’ve raised your money, good relationships with your investors will depend on keeping them feeling connected to you and your production and excited about the investment they’ve made. Highly experienced producers will discuss and demonstrate how and when to ask for money, and how to engage with your investors throughout the life of the production and beyond. This course will equip you to make your pitch, answer questions, and keep your show moving forward.
